According to my chemistry 101 professor, the head of the department, fluorine is so electronegative that it will rip an electron from anything to be stable. Why are we putting that into our water?!
I used to wonder how medical professionals could take chemistry and not understand that fluoride was toxic. Then I read the book,"Ultralearning." The author discusses "transfer," the ability to learn a thing in one subject and apply it in another. Apparently, the trick to education is to facilitate transfer.
