This was written in 2021. It’s now 2024 and RFK was just nominated to head the HHS and get the toxins out of our food supply. I remain hopeful despite years of experience, lol. I’m renewing this article because I now have TOO MANY friends with cancer. Turbo cancer meaning it seems to come out of nowhere and BOOM it’s stage 4 and prognosis is usually poor.
Today, I’m working on a new post outlining current alternative cures for cancer. You’ll get that in a couple of days. Since I turned 50, my major health focus has been cancer. Something so rare 70 years ago, it was not a major concern for most of us.
It is now. Statistically, your chance of getting cancer is 1 in 2 for men, 1 in 3 for women. Chronic illness in children has risen 54% in the last 20 years. (Yeah, 20) Dementia/Alzheimer’s is practically guaranteed for people 85yo+ and that just happened — there was also no Alzheimer’s 70 years ago.
Much to my husband’s dismay (he’s the cook), we threw out all our Teflon and other non-stick and have been using stainless pots and pans. I finally found a good safe non-stick in the Greenlife pans. You can check them out here. You get 10% off using that link :)
Here’s why you want to stop using Teflon and plastic:
50 Years of Deception
“Our research has shown that PFAS impact biological functions linked to an increased risk of cancer,” warns Alexis Temkin, Ph.D., toxicologist and primary author of https://www.mdpi.com/1660-4601/17/5/1668/htm, a collaboration between the EWG and the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health at Indiana University Bloomington’s School of Public Health.
But Wait, There’s More
In fact, these chemicals are linked to cancer, birth defects, liver disease, thyroid disease, plummeting sperm counts, kidney disease, decreased immunity and a range of other serious health problems.
And Not Just in Pots & Pans!!!
They are also found in all these products:
Plastic ANYTHING: baggies, bottles (water, soda, milk, anything), bags, personal care product containers, pharmaceuticals, cleaning products, drinks
Prepackaged food including the wrapping on vegetables
Grease-resistant takeout food containers (like McD’s French fry boxes)
insect-repellent chemicalsStyrofoam
Fabric softener
Nail polish
Makeup (foundation, lipsticks, eyeshadow, mascara, etc) ESPECIALLY WATERPROOF or LONG-LASTING PRODUCTS (except Arbonne, of course!)
Moisturizers & hand creams
Antiperspirant/deodorant
Body wash
Shampoos & conditioners
Dental floss & plaque removers
Non-stick cookware & containers
Aluminum foil
Wrinkle-free clothing
Water-proof jackets
Water-proof boots
Stain-resistant carpeting
Furniture fabric
Plastic building materials
Fast-food wrappers
Pizza boxes
Anything in a can including those healthy sugar-free drinks. The “new” BPA is same as the old: a dangerous chemical that leaches into your drink.
Wow. Think about your chicken thighs: in a package sitting on a plastic moisture barrier bed sitting on styrofoam all covered with a plastic wrap...
WAIT! WHAT’S A “PFA”?
Poly- & perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are compounds used in industrial & consumer products.
PFAS have been classified as “forever chemicals” because they never go away. E V E R.
They’ve also been found in 97% of people tested.
Several studies going back 50 years identify PFAS as dangerous to our health & Fauci’s NIH is every so slowly responding to that by conducting its own research to confirm this. Gee thanks... Meanwhile, they allow us to keep ingesting it even though we’ve known since the 60s that it causes liver damage in rats.
Really?
Gee, could chemicals & toxic overload in our food, air & water be part of the problem? Why aren’t we using the precautionary principle?
THE PRECAUTIONARY PRINCIPLE
Simply exercise precaution before using/doing something. Like looking both ways before crossing a street: that’s precaution. PREcaution.
In Europe, nothing comes on the market until PROVEN SAFE. That’s PREcaution. In the US, if a chemical maker says it did the tests that prove its new billion$ product is safe, the FDA rubber-stamps it and BOOM it can be sold.
It’s only removed when it’s PROVEN UNSAFE. Sometimes not even then, judging from the fact that PFAS are still in use & widely available. EVEN TEFLON, search "teflon" on Amazon.
So when you see a product for sale or in use, you gotta stop assuming it’s safe.
2 VIP Things To Do
Here are the first 2 things to do to protect your and your family’s health:
1. Stop putting toxins in. Yes, I’m afraid that means not using anything in the list above. It’s not easy, I know!!!
2. Detox. And I’m not talking about a water fast or a parasite or colon cleanse, I’m talking major chemical & heavy metal detox. You can also take activated charcoal (available pretty much everywhere, even in regulation grocery stores) 2x a week. Not only does it detox your entire gut, it’s supposed to let you live 30% longer. (Hey it works this way in pigs and sadly we are pretty similar physiologically to pigs. I’ll find the study!)
I’ve watched too many friends & family die of preventable diseases. PREventable. Don’t be one of them.

In the words of Charlie Brown….we’re doomed
Full disclosure: I have not read your article but it looks very well researched and I will add it to my list to follow up on.
But a quick glance and it doesn’t mention the ‘covid vaccine’ anywhere, especially related to turbo cancers.
Highly recommend Dr Makis’ essential Substack of personal research and chronicling of turbo cancers.
